On Wednesday evening we launched TIGA, our new investment governance platform, at The Royal Yacht in St Helier. Around 70 trustees, professional advisers and investment managers joined us for the first look — thank you to everyone who came, and who braved the forecast to do it.

TIGA - the Trustee Investment Governance Application - is built on MPI’s peer group indices, the STEP Member Service benchmark that has supported trustees and advisers since 2012. It takes more than sixteen years of independent data, drawn from over 500,000 live portfolios, and turns it into a working platform for manager selection, performance monitoring and investment governance.

As regulatory expectations increase, trustees face growing pressure to show not just what investment decisions were made, but how. TIGA gives them an independent, unconflicted way to do that. MPI does not provide advice or sell investment products; it provides the data, and TIGA makes that data usable.

James Painter, Managing Director, said:
‘TIGA builds on the strong foundations of MPI and turns a trusted peer group benchmark into a practical governance platform. We’ve developed it to reflect the challenges trustees and investment managers face today, and it was good to see so many of them in the room as we launched it.’

TIGA is available now - request a walkthrough.
